Van Gogh, Monet and Renoir made pilgrimages to Provence to paint in its brilliant Mediterranean light. Cezanne was born there, and Toulouse-Lautrec’s family property was close by. Several of these painters loved food and cooking and enjoyed discovering the cuisine of the south. This class will be about their experience of the region and its food. Examples and tastes provided.
