In this course we will work directly on the canvas, capturing the proportions and shapes in the drawing stage and building the painting on top. Topics covered will include capturing the proportions and structure of the face, as well as describing costumes and accessories worn by the model, and the decision process in creating a narrative story in a portrait. Supply list and images provided.
