Painting the beautiful New England winter landscape in watercolor will be explored in this Zoom workshop. Glazing techniques and layering of the subtle tints of snow will be introduced. Value, composition and painting light and shadow will be emphasized. Students will work from photo reference and learn to create a finished painting with step-by-step guidance provided by the instructor. For all levels of ability with some watercolor experience suggested. A critique will be held at the end of the session. Supply list provided. Zoom link will be sent the day before the class.
