Do you struggle with painting rocks or cliffs in your landscape? It’s probably because of the irregular and organic shapes they come in. From your own rock or cliff photos, you’ll learn how to break the rocks down into basic shapes. Once the basic forms are sketched in, we’ll move onto color and light and dark and light accents. Emphasis will be on the use of broken color and dominant light and dark planes. The workshop will begin with a one-hour demo followed by uninterrupted painting time and lots of at-your-easel instruction. This workshop is for all levels.
