What are “champion” trees? Why are these superhero trees so important to the planet? Visit the special exhibit Hall of Heroes and discover what superpowers actually exist in plants, animals, insects and people.  Do you have super senses? Have fun as you test your own superpowers and senses and see how artists bring the stories of superheroes and their super strengths to life in this exciting exhibit.  Learn about some of the creatures of our planet that live at opposite poles of the earth: penguins, polar bears, and others and their frozen habitat. Explore the lives of some amazing undersea creatures that we observe near our seashores. How do they see? Who eats who? Who glows and why? Through many experiments, activities, and observations, we’ll learn about the precious interdependency of Earth’s wondrous creatures and why their superpowers are so important.

Bring a snack and a brown bag lunch. DRESS FOR MESS!
