Join artist Robert Masla, who has been painting in watercolor and oil for over 50 years as he shares knowledge and techniques that will help you advance your painting practice. Masla will help you to loosen up and feel more comfortable with watercolor in this relaxed and informative workshop. Through a series of paint – along demonstrations, Masla will lead you in expanding your understanding and handling of painting in watercolor. He will give you techniques, exercises, and principles to practice and gain further understanding and control of the give and take between the artist, the brush, paint, paper, and the water that ultimately brings mastery to watercolor painting. This class is ideal for those with some watercolor experience but are feeling a bit intimidated by the medium as well as the artist that hasn’t painted in watercolor in a while or the intermediate that wishes to strengthen and expand their knowledge and practice, loosen up and increase their mastery of watercolor painting. This class is open to students who have taken a section of Watercolor Simplified before, as well as first time students.
