July 21-25 Explore the exciting world of fabric design using Javanese batik (wax painting), Japanese shibori (bound dyeing), marbling, and block and monoprinting. Create vibrant paintings, unique hangings, lovely accessories, or just beautiful yardage. Learn to dye fabrics with techniques of immersion and direct dyeing and then decorate them with hand painted or stamped designs.
