The Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in March. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Museum of Fine Arts.
March 6 – Blues in Our Blood: Growing Up in Springfield 1940-1970; Connie Fredericks-Malone, director, Carole D. Fredericks Foundation, Inc. March 13 – An Afternoon of Traditional Celtic Music; Jeff Snow, acoustic musician. March 20 – A Social History of Victorian Costume; Lynne Bassett, costume and textile historian. March 27 – Brundibár: How the Nazis Used a Children's Opera to Deceive International Observers; Ron Luchsinger, artistic Director, Commonwealth Opera. Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market.
