Come to the “Aloha Hula” Party at the Springfield Museums

Wear your Hawaiian shirt and dance the hula at Springfield Museums’ Culture & Cocktails event on Thursday, May 3, from 5 to 8 pm in the Lyman and Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History.

The “Ahola Hula” party will feature music and hula dancing provided by Three Finger Poi from 6-8 p.m. Luau-themed hors d’oeuvres will be served, along with a cash bar with “POG Punch” (passion fruit, orange and guava) as the featured cocktail.

Guests will receive a free Hawaiian lei while supplies last. Enter the Hawaiian shirt contest for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Museum Store. Bring your cell phone or digital camera to commemorate the event with a photo in front of a tropical beach backdrop.

Admission is free for members of the Springfield Museums and $5 for non-members. The event is for adults over 21. Both members and nonmembers are encouraged to make advance reservations through springfieldmuseums.org or by phone at 413.263.6800, ext. 266.
