William Hosley, executive director of the New Haven Museum and Historical Society, will present a program about The Japan Craze on Saturday, March 28, at 1 p.m. at the Michele & Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts in Springfield.
Hosley will discuss the Victorian-era passion for all things Japanese and how it was reflected in the decorative arts of the period. The talk is free with the price of museum admission.
