The Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in January. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.
Jan. 7 – The Conservation and Restoration of the Stained Glass Windows at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, Washington, D.C.; Glenn Shalan, owner, Shalan Stained Glass, North Adams, Mass.
Jan. 14 – The Mysteries of Indonesia; Peter Santos, photographer and lecturer.
Jan. 21 – A Revolution Frustrated: The Roots of Shays’ Rebellion in the Winning of Independence; Richard Colton, historian, Springfield Armory National Historic Site.
Jan. 28 – Fashion in Film, a DVD presentation.
Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program; cookies and coffee are provided.
