The Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in March. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 pm in the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.
- March 3 – Frames: History, Materials & Conservation; Susan B. Jackson, gilding conservator, and member, American Institute for the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works.
- March 10 – Some Things We Carry in Western Massachusetts; Marilyn McArthur, Ph.D.
- March 17 – Small Wildcats of the World Conservation; Jim Sanderson, Ph.D., founder, Small Wildcat Conservation Foundation; with guest Debi Willoughby, Jungle Encounters.
- March 24 – Romanticism: Sentiment and Sensibility; Gloria Russell, art historian and writer.
- March 31 – Metal-Life Crisis: Steel Crazy After All These Tears; James Kitchen, sculptor.
Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program. Cookies and coffee are provided.
