It’s the best and most romantic Valentine’s deal in town: “Love Under the Stars,” a dazzling celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 5-8:30pm at the Springfield Science Museum!
Tickets for the event, which is meant for adults age 21 and up, are $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Space is limited, and tickets are selling briskly; click here to purchase. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite pink, red, or heart-adorned attire!
This first-of-its-kind event at the Museums will include “Lovers of the Night Sky,” a kaleidoscopic light and music show set to the sound of modern and nostalgic love songs; tours of the rooftop observatory, hands-on activities exploring the art and science of love; a fun photo booth, sweet and savory charcuterie; a cash bar; and more.
“We are thrilled to make Springfield Museums a destination for love this year!” said Jenny Powers, Director of the Science Museum. “We are extremely excited to provide a deeper Valentine’s Day experience, where you can have fun, learn new things, and create lasting memories with your loved ones.”
The immersive light and music show will last about 30 minutes and will be presented in the recently renovated Seymour Planetarium at 5:30, 6:15, 7, and 7:45pm. Guests will choose their showtimes upon arrival at the Welcome Center on Feb. 14; it is not necessary to reserve seats ahead of time.
