Exploring Color Theory
Working in a variety of materials, learn to mix color, identify the crucial aspects which affect color and explore the interaction between colors and how they change according to their surroundings.
Art Discovery Playgroup
Come explore hands-on play and activity stations, make new friends, and learn about our world. Open to all children 0-5 with their caregivers. Activities may include dressing up in kimonos, light table play, changing art projects, a reading corner, a Tanabata wish tree, and Chinese New Year activities, and storytelling.

With a parent or guardian, toddlers will learn how to look, interact, behave and discover new places as they explore a special exhibit or particular gallery in the museums each week. Restoring our Victorian Home: How We Got There, and How We Found, Researched, and Restored It
Forty years of life with a Victorian home in Springfield's McKnight neighborhood. From vacant rooming house to a period restored and furnished showplace. The Boone's home has been featured in numerous national and local publications as well as on many local house tours. Talk will feature many before and after photos of the restoration process.

Following the Museums a la Carte lecture with Jim Boone, join docent Diane Huot for further discussion in the Early 20th Century Gallery in the D'Amour Museum of Fine Arts.
