Modern Astronomical Research at Lowell Observatory
The lecture will emphasize the recent New Horizons mission, featuring up-to-date results of that spacecraft’s 2015 flight past Pluto and Lowell Observatory’s contributions to the mission.

Following the Museums a la Carte lecture with Lowell Observatory trustee W. Lowell Putnam, join curator of physical science Richard Sanderson for further discussion in Astronomy Hall in the Springfield Science Museum. Museum members only.
