The Museums present Grinchmas After Hours, an adults-only romp through our holiday exhibitions in the Wood Museum of Springfield History and the Springfield Science Museum, on Thursday, December 8 from 5—8pm.
“Grinchmas After Hours is one of the Museums’ favorite ways to celebrate adults and ring in the Christmas season,” said Larissa Murray, Director of Education. “Between our holiday exhibits, various refreshments, and live music, there is no better way for adults to embrace the holiday spirit at the Museums!”
Enjoy the Grinch’s Grotto, the Flour to Fables gingerbread exhibition, and lights on the Quadrangle Green; live music by Western Mass Brass Quintet; complimentary hors d’oeuvres; and cash bar. Tickets are $10 for Members and $20 for nonmembers. Reservations at SpringfieldMuseums.org/programs suggested.
“It’s a great way for people to experience the holiday season within the warmth of the Museums while having a night of fun that is catered specifically to them,” said Sharon Ferrara, Welcome Center Manager and Group Tour Coordinator. “Grinchmas After Hours allows adults and parents to take a break from their daily life to enjoy drinks, food, and live music with their community.”
Grinchmas is sponsored by Hope for Youth and Families Foundation, the Irene E. & George A. Davis Foundation, and Eversource.

The Grinch’s Grotto is from the creators of The Dr. Seuss Experience and Dr. Seuss Enterprises and is sponsored locally by M&T Bank.
